Reception will be at the Westin Hotel and the performance will take place at the Segerstrom Center.

Evening of Hope presented by the Kirwan Family Foundation and Woodside Credit! This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, October 1 beginning at 4:00 p.m. featuring a cocktail hour, dinner, and program at the Westin Hotel followed by Les Misérables at the Segerstrom Center at 6:30 p.m.

Sit down buffet style dinner.

You can support the scholars under our care by participating in the fund-a-need.

The Fund-a-Need is an opportunity to support the specific needs of the Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars. Boys Hope Girls Hope helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need reach their full potential by providing value-centered homes and educational opportunities through college. Your donation will help provide the stable housing, basic needs, and the educational opportunities these children need to pursue a higher education.

While, of course, you are free to join at any level, consider the following examples to see what your donation can do:

• $120: Clothe a child
• $240: Help our scholars visit prospective colleges
• $500: Pay for athletics or fine arts participation for a child for a year
• $600: Provide professional counseling services for a child
• $1,000: Provide training for our child care staff
• $1,200: Provide college scholarships for our graduates
• $1,500: Feed a child
• $2,000: Help provide transportation to school and extra-curricular activities
• $3,000: Provide a room and bed for a child for a year
• $5,000: Provide cost of living for one of our homes which includes electricity, water, phone, cable and internet for a year
• $12,000: High School Tuition for a child for a year
